(Farm) Book Reading

Terra Brockman, author of A Season on Henry's Farm and founder of The Land Connection is reading from her book Wednesday, 2/24 at the Chicago Downtown Farmstand Market.

She works on her brother's farm (that is Henry) in Central Illinois. They sell at the Evanston Farmer's Market.

The book is wonderful. I am savoring it - so I am not finished. Should be an interesting evening.

I am reading it too :-). I love the week by week stories. She spoke in Geneva at the Green Market too. Steve heard her being interviewed on NPR but we missed the Green market engagement. I got it from the library & after I started to read it, I bought it. So much good info.

Hi Barb,

You and I have similar book loves - you have commented previously about Verlyn Klinkenborg too. Have you read A Very Small Farm by William Paul Winchester? One of my favs.

I am enjoying Terra's book very much. I saw she was doing a reading at MOSES also - but I didn't see her there. So much to see and to do!
