Progress

Still a work in progress but the shop (almost) has full sides and a full roof!

The windows are from Rebuilding Exchange in Chicago and the doors are repurposed from the farmhouse.

This is the view from the back. The large white covering on the right will eventually be a garage door (it's a tarp for the moment).

Progress on the farmhouse too. Both upstairs and downstairs are almost fully demo'd. We also have a building permit and Bill has done a first pass on the plans on CADD and we are in conversations with a passive house engineer and architect.

Oh, and the week of 3/12? We will become WI residents....!

Some garlic varieties sprout early

In late November, the Thai Fire was sprouted. Duly noted for next year's planting plan.

3 Flat Acres is officially certified organic! Our certifier is MOSA.

Our relocate to Wisconsin date is getting closer - we anticipate moving in mid to late March. I've started packing!

New slow zone on Buckwheat Ridge Road

Yep, Judy, we got a crane! Bill emailed me these photos and noted that traffic on our already very quiet rural road sure has slowed while he's been working.

We continue to make progress on the shop. The end walls are framed out and is ready for the roof trusses, which get delivered this week. Bill plans to continue construction this upcoming week.
